Harlech Russet/Teal

Mulberry Wools V FabricFD840.V158

Harlech Russet/Teal combines deep russet and muted teal horizontal bands with repeating tan diamond motifs. The closely woven surface gives the pattern a grounded, textile-rich appearance rather than a bright or glossy finish.

About this fabric

This 100% wool fabric is woven with alternating russet, charcoal-teal and fine tan stripes, punctuated by large stepped diamond motifs containing smaller geometric details. The 49 cm vertical repeat and 37 cm horizontal repeat give the design a clear, ordered rhythm across the 150 cm width. Its warm terracotta-red ground is softened by earthy tan and balanced by cool, subdued teal, creating a colourway with substantial depth. Rated at 20,000 Martindale, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the russet ground to warm a plain chair, sofa or bedspread, then echo the muted teal in cushions or painted joinery. The horizontal banding also makes a strong statement as full-length curtains, where the 49 cm repeat can be appreciated across the cloth.

A richly patterned wool weave that brings warm russet depth and cool teal contrast to upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
