About this fabric

This colourway has a deep olive-brown background that brings out the saturated scarlet, poppy red and orange flowers, while teal and navy leaves add cooler contrast. The floral stems and varied blooms form a medium-scale repeat measuring 64 cm vertically by 66 cm horizontally. Woven from 42% acrylic, 38% polyester and 20% wool, the 132 cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains and bedspreads. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed, and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Gorton Red/Teal for full curtains or a bedspread where its olive-brown base can anchor a room, then pick out the red blooms with plain cushions or painted wood accents. Teal and sage details will draw attention to the cooler foliage without competing with the floral density.
