About this fabric

The stripe is built from alternating rust and terracotta bands, narrow blue-grey lines, earthy tan grounds and darker brown accents, creating a softened, sun-baked contrast rather than a bright colour clash. Its close woven texture is visibly substantial, with small linear details adding depth as the light moves across the cloth. Made from 70% cotton and 30% jute, the fabric is 132 cm (51.86") wide and has a 9 cm (3.54") vertical pattern repeat with a 26 cm (10.21") horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care requires professional dry cleaning, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the rust and terracotta stripes to warm a neutral room, or draw out the muted blue-grey lines with slate, denim or aged blue accents. Its structured vertical rhythm suits a tailored chair, upholstered headboard, relaxed blinds or full-length curtains.

A substantial striped weave that brings warm rust, blue and earthy neutrals to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
