Beaumaris Red/Green combines muted brick red with olive, taupe and brown-green tones in a horizontally banded geometric weave. Repeating diamond motifs give the surface a richly layered, textile-led appearance.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this 150 cm (58.93") fabric has a substantial, softly textured appearance suited to both curtains and upholstery. The design is arranged in horizontal bands of small diamond and stepped geometric motifs, with red accents appearing against an olive and earthy taupe ground. Its subdued, weathered colour balance gives the pattern a grounded, relaxed character rather than a bright or high-contrast effect. The vertical pattern repeat is 32 cm (12.57") and the horizontal repeat is 19 cm (7.46"). It is suitable for loose upholstery, fixed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the muted red as an accent on an upholstered chair or headboard, then balance it with olive, taupe and warm brown plain textiles. The horizontal patterning would also give curtains or a bedspread a quietly graphic, layered finish.
