About this fabric

The dark indigo ground gives this vertically organised stripe a deep, almost ink-like tone, while narrow cream lines provide crisp contrast. Small cream dash details sit in repeating columns between the stripes, with restrained red pin lines adding a muted warmth that becomes more noticeable at close range. Woven from 100% cotton, the fabric is 136 cm wide and has an 8 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 23 cm horizontal repeat. Its specified uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care requires professional dry cleaning; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo as an anchoring tone on a chair, headboard or full-length curtain, then pick up the muted red in piping or nearby accessories. The cream lines keep the dark colourway defined rather than flat.

A smart indigo stripe with cream detailing and restrained red warmth for upholstery, curtains or bedspreads.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Eastwind Stripe Indigo/Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
