Cowdray Stripe Denim

Cowdray Stripe Denim combines cool, muted denim-blue bands with warm taupe and camel grounds in a finely detailed vertical stripe. The blue bands contain a subtle geometric woven motif that gives the surface added depth.

About this fabric

Woven from 70% cotton and 30% jute, this 130 cm-wide fabric has a 10 cm horizontal pattern repeat and a gently textured, natural-looking handle. The design alternates slim denim-blue stripes with narrow dark lines and broader taupe bands, creating a measured rhythm rather than a bold high-contrast effect. Its cool blue reads softened and slightly greyed against the warmer brown-beige ground, giving the colourway a quietly tailored character. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, and it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the muted denim stripes to bring cool depth to a warm taupe scheme, especially on a neatly upholstered chair, tailored headboard or full-length curtain. Pair with natural timber, aged leather and soft cream accents to pick up the fabric’s woven cotton-and-jute character.
