About this fabric

This Mulberry Home Festival fabric is made from 100% wool and measures 147 cm wide (57.75"). The indigo ground reads nearly charcoal in the deeper areas, while the softly textured weave lets the pale grey check lines remain clearly defined without appearing stark. The plaid has a 7.5 cm vertical repeat and a 7 cm horizontal repeat, creating a compact, orderly pattern. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Pair Bute Indigo with warm natural wood, chalky neutrals or tobacco leather to balance its cool navy depth. Its small-scale grey plaid is particularly effective on tailored upholstery, full-length curtains or a structured bedspread.
