About this fabric

This 100% wool fabric is woven in intersecting checks of muted teal, earthy sienna, plum-mauve and darker brown, creating depth rather than a high-contrast tartan effect. The 28cm vertical and 25cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the plaid clearly visible across a larger upholstered or curtained surface. At 150cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 35,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on hard-working upholstery, while the wool construction gives the colourway a warm, tactile presence.

How to use it

Use the dark teal and dusky mauve as the dominant notes in a study, snug or bedroom, then pick out the sienna lines with leather, aged timber or warm metal accents. Its structured plaid is equally suited to a tailored chair, relaxed loose cover or full-height curtains.
