Nevis Teal/Russet

Festival FabricFD748.R43

Nevis Teal/Russet combines cool, shadowed teal with russet-brown and softened beige in a layered woven plaid. Its subtly brushed wool surface gives the checks a mellow, softened edge rather than a sharp printed finish.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this 150cm-wide fabric shows overlapping teal, russet, brown and pale beige bands that form a medium-scale plaid. The teal reads deep and slightly muted, while the russet threads add a warm, earthy lift through the darker checks. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The pattern has a 28cm vertical repeat and 25cm horizontal repeat; it must be professionally dry cleaned and must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool teal ground on a reading chair or sofa where the russet checks can warm timber, leather and neutral walls. As curtains or a bedspread, the softly blended plaid adds depth without losing its relaxed country-wool character.

A softly woven wool plaid bringing cool teal depth and warm russet contrast to upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
