About this fabric

Highland Check Indigo combines a deep, cool blue ground with blurred taupe-grey checks; the low-contrast blocks give the pattern a weathered, softly layered depth. The velvet surface catches light unevenly, shifting between blue-black shadow and muted blue highlights across the swatch. Woven from 55% viscose and 45% cotton, it is 140 cm wide and has an 18 cm vertical by 17.5 cm horizontal repeat. With a 50,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo ground to anchor a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with warm taupe textiles to pick up the softened checks. Its deep blue tone also gives curtains and bedspreads a quietly enveloping finish.
