Croft Trellis Old Blue has a cool, pale blue ground marked with a tightly spaced trellis of small ivory geometric motifs. The low-contrast drawing gives the swatch a softly faded, airy appearance rather than a strong graphic effect.

About this fabric

Woven from 82% viscose and 18% linen, this 137cm-wide fabric has a fine, even surface that suits both fluid window treatments and upholstered applications. Its old-blue colour reads as muted and slightly greyed, with the light ivory pattern bringing gentle definition across the cloth. The trellis repeats every 15cm vertically and horizontally, creating a small-scale rhythm that remains subtle when used over a larger surface. Supplied uses include curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool old-blue ground to bring a calm, lightly coastal note to curtains or a headboard, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber and soft grey-blue accents. The small repeat also works neatly across loose upholstery and bedspreads without overpowering the room.
