About this fabric

This Mulberry Home velvet is woven in 88% cotton and 12% polyester and measures 132 cm wide. The dark blue-green indigo base gives the design a cool, almost nocturnal depth, contrasting with the tan and ochre ducks and the russet, moss-green and plum accents on the other birds. The pattern has a 38 cm vertical repeat and a 66 cm horizontal repeat, with repeated bird motifs distributed across the cloth. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this deep indigo colourway on a reading-chair or window seat where its warm ochre and russet birds can act as jewel-like accents. It also suits full curtains or a bedspread when paired with quiet navy, charcoal and aged brass tones.
