About this fabric

This red/plum colourway layers saturated crimson dahlias and roses with pale blush, ivory and peach blooms against a deep near-black ground. The dense floral layout includes curling leaves, stems and white lily-like flowers, giving the 82cm vertical and 134cm horizontal repeat a richly packed appearance. Made from 88% cotton and 12% polyester, the 134cm-wide velvet is rated at 50,000 Martindale rubs. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; professional dry cleaning is required, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this colourway to create a dramatic focal chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing its near-black ground with warm timber and aged brass. It also brings substantial colour and pattern to full curtains or a bedspread, where the crimson, plum and ivory bouquet can anchor a room.
