About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric combines charcoal grey-brown depth with muted sage, cream, terracotta, rust and dusty blue accents across its pheasant-and-foliage pattern. Pale striped branches cut through the composition, giving the large-scale design a strong vertical rhythm while the birds provide concentrated touches of colour. At 148 cm wide, it has a 62 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 73 cm horizontal repeat. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery; do not wash, and have it professionally dry cleaned only, without bleach or ironing.

How to use it

Use the charcoal ground to anchor a reading room, country sitting room or study, pairing it with warm wood, aged leather and quiet sage or stone upholstery. As curtains, the rust and cream markings can be echoed in cushions or painted joinery without competing with the detailed bird motif.

A richly detailed charcoal-ground design that brings pheasants, foliage and warm rust accents to curtains or fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
