About this fabric

This Mulberry Home velvet is composed of 88% cotton and 12% polyester, with a 134 cm width and a 38,000 Martindale rub test. The design shows richly detailed game birds among curling branches, grasses and leafy botanical forms, with the stone background allowing the rust-orange, teal-blue, mustard and olive markings to stand out without becoming overly bright. Its large repeat measures 58 cm vertically by 67 cm horizontally, giving the illustrated scene a strong presence across wider upholstery or hanging lengths. It is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use this stone-based colourway to soften a room with warm grey, olive or natural timber tones, then pick up its rust and teal details in cushions or painted accents. The velvet’s illustrated scale is especially effective on a statement chair, headboard, curtain or loose cover where the bird motifs can be appreciated.
