Lomond Velvet Antique combines oversized paisleys, scrolling borders and geometric panel details in a richly weathered palette of rust, muted teal, olive, ochre and charcoal. Its velvety surface gives the intricate design a softly layered appearance, with the darker sections adding depth.

About this fabric

This 55% viscose, 45% cotton velvet features a large-scale arrangement of paisley motifs and ornate geometric panels, with a 112 cm vertical repeat and 68.5 cm horizontal repeat. Antique rust and terracotta accents sit against muted teal, olive, blue-grey and warm tan, creating a timeworn, tapestry-like colour effect rather than a bright, high-contrast finish. At 137 cm wide, it is supplied for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The fabric has a 40,000 Martindale rub test; after care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use the softened teal and olive ground on a statement armchair or sofa, allowing the rust paisleys to connect with aged timber, warm metals and terracotta accents. Its large repeat also suits full-length curtains or a bedspread where the panelled design can be seen across a wider surface.
