About this fabric

This 88% cotton, 12% polyester velvet has a 134 cm width and a substantial 38,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The large-scale design shows perched and flying birds among feathery grasses, branching leaves and winding stems, with vivid turquoise and coral-blue plumage set against warmer rust, ochre and burgundy accents. Its fig-purple touches add depth to the muted olive ground, while the velvet surface gives the densely illustrated scene a more opulent finish. The pattern repeats over 58 cm vertically and 67 cm horizontally; care is professional dry cleaning only, with no washing, bleaching or ironing.

How to use it

Use this Fig/Multi colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or full-length curtains where its olive ground can settle the brighter turquoise and rust birds. Pair it with warm wood, aged brass and plain textiles in fig, moss or biscuit tones to echo the layered jungle palette.
