Lomond Velvet Red/Plum combines deep burgundy, plum and russet tones in an elaborate paisley composition. The dense design is visibly enriched by fine scrolling outlines, ornamental medallions and darker vertical panels.

About this fabric

Made from 55% viscose and 45% cotton, this velvet has a 137 cm (53.82") width and a substantial 40,000 Martindale rub test. Its red-plum ground reads warm and deep, with copper, tobacco, muted teal and russet details adding intricate contrast across the paisley motifs. The large repeat measures 112 cm (44") vertically by 68.5 cm (26.91") horizontally, giving the pattern a strong architectural presence on larger surfaces. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use the wine-red and plum depth as a dramatic focal point on an armchair, headboard or sofa, balancing the ornate surface with aged timber, dark neutrals and warm metallic accents. As curtains or a bedspread, its pattern brings a richly layered, bohemian feel without relying on bright colour.
