Curiosity Teal

Curiosity Teal combines a cool, muted teal ground with closely spaced geometric medallions in rust, cream, ochre, charcoal and softened blue. The softly matte surface gives the pattern a tactile, woven character while allowing the contrasting colours to remain clearly defined.

About this fabric

This 100% linen fabric is 148 cm wide and has a vertical pattern repeat of 86 cm with a 74 cm horizontal repeat. Its repeating angular motifs have an artisanal, kilim-like appearance, with dark teal and charcoal shapes set against warmer terracotta, brick, tan and ivory accents. The teal ground reads deep and cool in the swatch, while the varied medallion colours add warmth and visual depth without making the design feel bright. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care instructions specify professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Pair Curiosity Teal with warm timber, aged brass and rust or ochre accents to draw out the warmer motifs against its cool ground. Its medium-scale repeat can bring pattern to a statement chair, upholstered headboard, curtains or a coordinated bedspread.

Use the cool teal ground to anchor rust, cream, ochre and charcoal accents in both upholstery and window treatments.
