Highland Check Teal combines a deep, cool teal ground with broad, softly blurred checks in smoky taupe and brown. Its velvet surface gives the colourway a shaded, tactile depth rather than a bright, crisp finish.

About this fabric

The medium-scale check is formed from softly layered teal, taupe and brown tones, creating an atmospheric country look with visible tonal variation across the pile. This 45% cotton, 55% viscose velvet is 140 cm wide and has an 18 cm vertical pattern repeat with a 17.5 cm horizontal repeat. A 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use for fixed and loose upholstery, as well as curtains and bedspreads. It must not be washed, bleached or ironed and requires professional dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use the deep teal as an enveloping upholstery colour on a sofa, armchair or headboard, pairing it with warm timber and the check’s muted taupe-brown notes. Hung as curtains, it will bring a darker, cocooning layer while retaining the relaxed character of a country check.
