About this fabric

This plain Festival fabric reads as a muted teal, with cool blue-green colour tempered by fine grey and a lightly flecked woven texture. The 95% wool and 5% nylon composition gives the cloth a substantial textile character, while its 137 cm width suits curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. A 30,000 Martindale rub test supports its use on upholstered seating. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Leith Teal to bring a calm, cool depth to an armchair, sofa or bedspread, or make full curtains where its greyed blue-green tone can read softly in changing light. Pair it with warm timber, chalky neutrals and aged brass to balance the coolness.

A softly mottled teal wool blend for tailored upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
