Pageant Stripe Multi combines close-set burgundy, olive, mustard and muted teal stripes in a richly layered vertical design. A darker central band introduces a small repeating geometric motif, giving the swatch a distinctive woven character.

About this fabric

The stripe field is made up of fine vertical lines in deep red, olive green, ochre, muted blue-green and charcoal, with the darker tones giving the colourway a grounded, slightly vintage feel. In the centre, a narrow patterned band breaks the linear rhythm with repeated cream and gold stepped motifs. Woven in 100% cotton at 130 cm wide, the fabric has a 2.5 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 43.5 cm horizontal repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 20,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the burgundy and olive depth to bring warmth to a library chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then echo the mustard and muted teal in cushions or trim. Its vertical emphasis also makes it effective for full-length curtains where the stripe can run uninterrupted.
