Shepton Stripe Teal/Spice
Icons Fabrics FabricFD811.R50
Shepton Stripe Teal/Spice brings together cool, muted teal with warm spice-red and sandy neutral threads in a finely broken vertical stripe. Its close woven surface gives the colourway a softly tactile, layered appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric
This 140 cm (55") fabric is woven from 50% cotton, 22% viscose, 16% acrylic, 9% linen and 3% nylon. The image shows narrow vertical bands that shift between dusky teal, terracotta-spice, olive-tan and pale neutral threads, with a subtle ribbed texture catching the light. A 12 cm (4.71") horizontal pattern repeat keeps the stripe visually fine and easy to place. Suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, it has a 20,000 Martindale rub test; professional dry cleaning is required.
How to use it
Use the teal ground as a cool anchor for warm spice cushions, rust accents and natural wood, or let the narrow stripe add height to curtains and upholstered pieces without overwhelming a room. Its softened, earthy contrast also works well with stone, olive and oatmeal tones.
A finely textured vertical stripe balancing cool teal with warm spice and soft neutral threads.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Shepton Stripe Teal/Spice without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
