Shepton Stripe Red/Blue

Icons Fabrics FabricFD811.V110

Shepton Stripe Red/Blue brings together narrow vertical bands of muted terracotta-red, blue-grey and warm beige. The close-woven surface has a subtly ribbed, tactile appearance that gives the colourway depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

This 50% cotton, 22% viscose, 16% acrylic, 9% linen and 3% nylon fabric has a finely textured woven stripe, with the red reading softly against cooler blue-grey lines and earthy beige accents. At 140 cm wide, the design has a 12 cm horizontal pattern repeat and is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 20,000 Martindale rub test supports use on seating as well as softer furnishing applications. Care is professional dry cleaning only; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm red lines to add gentle colour to a neutral sitting room, pairing the blue-grey detail with slate, faded denim or stone upholstery. Its narrow, regular stripe also gives upholstered chairs and bedspreads a neat, tailored finish.

A tailored woven stripe blending muted red, blue-grey and warm beige for coordinated upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
