About this fabric

Ancient Tartan Red/Blue lays out a regular plaid of softened brick red, dusky blue and taupe-brown, crossed by narrow pinstripes and broader translucent bands. The image reads muted rather than bright: the blue sits cool against earthy red and tan, while darker intersections give the check depth. Made from 100% non-woven material, it is supplied at 70 cm (27.5") wide. Its 23 cm (9.04") vertical pattern repeat keeps the tartan rhythm clear, and the surface is spongeable for after-care.

How to use it

Use this colourway to bring depth to a study, snug or bedroom, pairing its cool slate-blue and muted red with aged timber, warm neutrals and brushed metal. Its softened tartan scale works especially well as a feature wall where the layered checks can be seen at full height.
