About this fabric

The design shows a prominent pheasant-like bird among layered grasses, leaves, branches and smaller game birds, with pale trunks and foliage breaking across the charcoal background. Its earthy palette combines russet brown, warm cream, olive green, muted blue and touches of red, creating a detailed, storybook-like scene with a distinctly shadowed mood. Made from 100% Non Woven, this wallpaper is supplied at 70 cm (27.5") wide. The vertical pattern repeat is 60 cm (23.57"), allowing the illustrated composition to build across the wall. After installation, the surface is spongeable for practical everyday care.

How to use it

Use this charcoal colourway as a dramatic backdrop in a study, dining room or bedroom, balancing its dense woodland imagery with warm timber, aged brass and quiet neutral upholstery. Its deep ground suits rooms where the russet birds and soft olive foliage can be picked out as accent colours.

A richly illustrated charcoal wallpaper that brings layered birds, foliage and warm natural accents to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
