Ancient Tartan Lovat/Red combines broad, softly muted checks with closely spaced intersecting lines in lovat green, mulberry red, tan and cream. The colourway has a gently weathered depth, with the red reading earthy rather than vivid against the cooler green.

About this fabric

This wallpaper is made from 100% Non Woven and measures 70 cm (27.5") wide. Its tartan layout alternates broad translucent-looking blocks with fine red, green and cream lines, creating a medium-scale plaid with a calm, layered rhythm. The palette moves from olive-lovat and dusty mulberry to warm tan and pale cream, giving the surface a softly aged, country-house character. The vertical pattern repeat is 23 cm (9.04"), and the wallpaper is spongeable for after-care.

How to use it

Pair this muted lovat and mulberry colourway with aged timber, warm cream paintwork and russet or olive upholstery. Its restrained red accents work particularly well in a study, entrance hall or snug where a traditional plaid can provide depth without becoming bright.
