Mulberry Ancient Tartan Mulberry Tartan

Mulberry Ancient Tartan combines broad, softly layered checks with fine intersecting stripes in muted mulberry, olive, tan, cream and taupe. Its earthy palette gives the tartan a softened, timeworn depth rather than a bright or high-contrast finish.

About this wallpaper

This wallpaper has a 100% non-woven composition and is supplied at 52 cm wide, with a 26 cm vertical pattern repeat. The design is built from broad olive-taupe and warm tan blocks, crossed by dusty mulberry bands, pale cream lines and fine brown striping. Subtle green-grey and rose-brown notes show through the checks, giving the surface a mellow, slightly antique appearance. The regular grid feels structured, while the softened colours keep the overall effect welcoming rather than severe.

How to use it

Pair this muted mulberry tartan with warm timber, aged brass and olive upholstery, or use it to add depth behind cream-painted joinery. Its tan and taupe blocks make it especially easy to connect with earthy neutrals.

Use this earthy mulberry tartan to bring layered colour and a quietly traditional character to a room.

Mulberry Ancient Tartan Mulberry Tartan is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
