Floral Pompadour Velvet Spice is a densely packed botanical velvet on a warm cream ground. Scarlet, rust, coral, peach and ivory blooms are interwoven with deep green foliage for a richly coloured, painterly effect.

About this fabric

The design combines scarlet and rust-red flowers with coral dahlias, peach roses, creamy white blooms and shadowy green leaves, creating a warm, high-contrast colourway. The velvet construction gives the busy floral arrangement a soft, saturated depth, while the pale ground keeps the overall impression luminous rather than dark. Made from 88% cotton and 12% polyester, the fabric is 134 cm wide and has a 50,000 Martindale rub test. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with an 82 cm vertical and 134 cm horizontal pattern repeat. After care requires professional dry cleaning; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use this Spice colourway to energise a neutral room with upholstered seating, a statement headboard or full-length curtains. Pair the warm cream ground with natural timber and repeat the coral, rust and leafy green notes in smaller cushions or painted accents.
