Paint Box Teal/Spice combines cool teal flashes with spice-red, charcoal and oatmeal tones in a densely packed geometric design. The soft velvet surface gives the intricate diamond motifs a gently softened, tactile appearance.

About this fabric

This 50% viscose, 50% cotton velvet is 144 cm (56.57") wide, with a visibly napped surface that gives the pattern subtle depth. The repeat is made up of layered diamonds, outlined motifs and small ikat-like shapes in teal, rust-red, charcoal and warm ivory. Its vertical pattern repeat is 45 cm (17.68") and its horizontal pattern repeat is 72 cm (28.29"), creating a closely articulated rhythm across the cloth. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. After use, it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use the cool teal accents to enliven an oatmeal or stone room, while the spice-red diamonds introduce warmth through a chair, headboard or upholstered bench. The dense medium-scale pattern also works well as curtains or a bedspread where its ivory ground can keep the overall effect balanced.
