About this fabric

This Mulberry Home velvet is made from 88% cotton and 12% polyester, with a 134 cm (52.64") width. Its 82 cm (32.21") vertical repeat and 134 cm (52.64") horizontal repeat allow the large floral composition to be planned across upholstery and bedspreads. A 50,000 Martindale rub test makes it suitable for fixed and loose upholstery, while the supplied usage also includes curtains. The cool sage, olive foliage, chalky cream and blue-grey flowers give the pattern a softly faded, collected quality rather than a bright or highly saturated floral effect.

How to use it

Use the sage ground to anchor a reading chair, sofa or headboard, then draw out the powder-blue blooms with washed blue or grey-green accents. The large repeat also makes a richly layered bedspread or relaxed curtain treatment, balanced by warm timber and aged brass.

A cool sage ground and faded blue florals bring layered country character to upholstered seating, headboards and occasional curtains.
