About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, this 150 cm-wide fabric has a 28 cm vertical repeat and 25 cm horizontal repeat, giving the plaid a considered medium-scale presence. In the swatch, deep blue and teal bands are softened by grey, taupe and oatmeal threads, while the woolly surface lends the checks a subtly weathered depth. With a 35,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Care is professional dry cleaning only: do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use Nevis Blue on a lounge chair, sofa or tailored headboard where its cool blue-teal depth can sit against pale timber, stone, chalky walls and warm neutral linens. As curtains or a bedspread, the oatmeal and grey checks help temper the stronger blue bands without losing the pattern’s tailored character.
