Racing Stripe Indigo combines a deep, cool indigo ground with closely spaced vertical lines, tiny chevrons and geometric woven details. Narrow burgundy and pale blue accents bring depth to the otherwise dark, tailored colourway.

About this fabric

The 68% cotton and 32% jute construction gives the cloth a visibly tactile, softly slubbed weave, while the fine vertical striping creates a strong sense of height. Indigo remains the dominant tone, with muted burgundy lines and lighter blue, ivory and grey details catching the light across the surface. At 134 cm wide, and with a 33.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. This fabric must not be washed, bleached or ironed; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the cool indigo as an anchoring shade on a tailored armchair, headboard or relaxed blind, then pick up the discreet burgundy threads with warm timber or leather. The vertical rhythm also suits full-height curtains where the stripe can read clearly.
