Berber Stripe Spice

Berber Stripe Spice combines a warm russet-terracotta ground with closely spaced vertical bands in cream, brown and muted olive. Fine chevron detailing within the darker stripes gives the surface a distinctly woven, textural character.

About this fabric

The spice colourway reads as earthy and warm, with the terracotta ground carrying more depth than a bright orange and allowing the lighter pinstripes to stand out clearly. Narrow cream and muted olive lines frame darker brown bands, several of which contain small repeated chevron motifs. Woven from 32% jute and 68% cotton, the fabric is 134 cm wide and has a 22.5 cm horizontal pattern repeat. It is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads, with a 6,000 Wyzenbeek Cotton Duck rub test. Professional dry cleaning is required; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the warm spice and russet tones on a country or relaxed contemporary armchair, sofa cushion or headboard, then echo the muted olive and cream lines in plain-textured furnishings. As curtains, the vertical stripe will add height while retaining the fabric’s substantial woven feel.

Use this earthy terracotta stripe to bring warmth and woven texture to upholstered seating, curtains or a relaxed bedspread.
