Bowmont Blue presents a cool slate-blue ground crossed by soft beige lines, forming a measured checked design. The wool weave has a gently textured, matte surface that gives the blue subtle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% wool, Bowmont Blue is 144 cm wide and combines broad blue-grey checks with narrower pale beige bands and fine dotted pinstripes. Its 10 cm vertical and 9 cm horizontal pattern repeats keep the plaid neat and balanced across a larger surface. The cool, muted colouring and softly napped texture suit both relaxed upholstery and understated curtains. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is specified for loose upholstery, fixed upholstery, curtains and bedspreads.

How to use it

Use Bowmont Blue to bring a calm, cool note to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, pairing it with warm ivory, natural oak and soft beige. At the window, its small-to-medium check gives a tailored country feel without introducing a strong contrast.
