Heirloom Paisley Damson is a densely drawn paisley in a muted damson ground, layered with olive green, sage, cream and warm pink detailing. Its intricate scrolling forms create a richly traditional surface with considerable visual depth.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% cotton, this 140cm-wide fabric combines damson and wine-red paisley outlines with mossy olive, soft sage and fine cream tracery. The large-scale pattern has a 46cm vertical repeat and a 69cm horizontal repeat, allowing the teardrop motifs to read clearly across a made-up piece. With a 20,000 Martindale rub test, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. For care, do not wash, bleach or iron; professional dry cleaning is required.

How to use it

Use the warm, muted damson ground on a traditional armchair, ottoman or upholstered headboard, then pick out its olive and sage accents in plain cushions or painted joinery. It also makes characterful curtains or a coordinated bedspread where the full paisley repeat can be appreciated.
