Maddox Deep Purple is a richly saturated wine-purple textile with a softly shaded, near-solid surface. Its depth shifts subtly across the swatch, giving the colour a plush and atmospheric presence.

About this fabric

The deep aubergine tone reads cool and dramatic, while the fine, low-contrast surface texture prevents it from appearing completely flat. Made from 100% polyester, Maddox is 140 cm (55 inches) wide and specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its 42,000 Wyzenbeek Wire Mesh rub test supports use on hard-working upholstered pieces. Care instructions specify a cool machine wash as the minimum, professional dry cleaning, no tumble drying or bleaching, and a cool iron.

How to use it

Use this deep wine-purple colourway to bring saturated depth to a reading chair, upholstered headboard or full-length curtain. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and muted plum or soft neutral accents to let the rich tone lead.
