Lansdowne Crimson is a richly coloured plain textile with a deep red surface and fine, understated weave. Its tonal variation gives the otherwise even colour added depth as the light moves across the swatch.

About this fabric

The swatch shows a saturated crimson red with subtle darker and lighter threads woven through the surface, creating a softly mottled appearance rather than a flat solid. Its fine horizontal and vertical grain gives the cloth a discreetly tactile finish without a visible motif. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 140 cm wide, it is specified for curtains, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The 50,000 Martindale rub test supports its use in hard-working fixed upholstery, while care guidance includes professional dry cleaning, a cool iron, no tumble drying and no bleaching.

How to use it

Use this deep crimson on a tailored chair, banquette or headboard to bring concentrated warmth and depth to a room. It can also carry through to curtains or a bedspread, where the subtle woven texture will soften the intensity of the red.
