Seaton Red has a richly textured, compact weave built from muted burgundy-red and warm cream yarns. Fine horizontal bands and tiny irregular marks give the surface a softly patterned appearance without a strong graphic motif.

About this fabric

The red reads as a warm, softened burgundy rather than a bright scarlet, with cream threads breaking up the depth and catching the light across the uneven weave. At 140 cm wide, this Mulberry Home fabric is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. Its composition is 52% viscose, 18% cotton, 17% linen and 13% polyester, with a 35,000 Martindale rub test. Care is professional dry clean only; it must not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Seaton Red to bring layered warmth to a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard, balancing its burgundy ground with oatmeal, aged wood and brushed metal. As curtains or a bedspread, its cream flecks help soften the depth of the red while retaining a smart, woven character.
