Croft Red

Mulberry Croft Weaves FabricFD851.V106

Croft Red is a softly variegated red woven with fine, closely spaced chevron lines. Its dusty brick and blush tones are tempered by lighter yarns, giving the surface a gently weathered depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The fabric is composed of 39% viscose, 23% cotton, 20% linen, 14% polyester and 4% wool, creating a visibly tactile surface with subtle fibre variation. Fine horizontal rows form a restrained herringbone-like texture, with the 26 cm vertical repeat and 1.4 cm horizontal repeat keeping the pattern understated at room scale. At 140 cm wide and tested to 25,000 Martindale rubs, it is specified for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The warm red shifts between muted terracotta, rose and brown flecks as the light catches the closely woven surface.

How to use it

Use Croft Red to bring a softened, earthy red note to a reading chair, sofa or upholstered headboard, then echo its blush and brown undertones in cushions or curtains. Its fine woven texture also suits full-length drapery where a quiet pattern is preferred over a plain cloth.

A warm, quietly patterned red weave for tailored upholstery, curtains and coordinated bedspreads.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
