Lingrove Red
Brooke Stripes FabricF4824-02
Lingrove Red in Brooke Stripes shows a finely drawn vertical stripe in muted brick red, softened by pale cream accents and a woven, slightly slubby surface. The effect is tailored and rhythmic rather than bold, with the red sitting warm and mellow against the lighter ground.

About this fabric
This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in 60% Cotton and 40% Linen, with an approximate width of 139cm and a vertical repeat of 11cm. The stripe reads as a narrow, orderly pattern with alternating red bands and pale cream lifts, creating a crisp but softened look. The linen content gives the surface a dry, natural texture, while the cotton keeps the stripe looking settled and stable. Lingrove Red has a warm, muted brick tone that feels less bright than scarlet and more grounded than terracotta, making it easy to place in classic interiors. The Q 8 : T 3 care code and √BM fire code support its use as a practical decorative textile.
How to use it
Use Lingrove Red on tailored curtains, Roman blinds, or a neatly upholstered chair where the vertical stripe can add height and order. Its muted red and cream palette works especially well with walnut, aged brass, and warm neutrals.
A restrained red stripe that brings warmth and structure without feeling loud.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lingrove Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
