Melbury Red
C&F Classic Prints FabricF3824-03
Melbury Red shows a lively coral-red foliate pattern scattered across a soft pale ground. The linen has a crisp, breathable look that keeps the design feeling bright rather than dense.

About this fabric
This colourway is printed on 100% linen, with an approximate width of 137cm and a large repeat of V 76cm / H 45.5cm, so the motif reads as a bold, spacious pattern across the cloth. The ground is a creamy off-white, while the leaves carry a warm coral-red with pinky highlights that soften the overall effect. Small trailing floral details between the larger forms add movement without crowding the layout. The result is a smart, decorative fabric that feels fresh, sunny and distinctly lighter than a deeper red print.
How to use it
It would work well in a light-filled sitting room as relaxed curtains or statement cushions, especially alongside ivory paint, cane, or honeyed timber. The warm coral tone also lifts taupe and beige schemes without overpowering them.
Use with warm neutrals and aged wood to let the coral-red foliate pattern stay fresh rather than heavy.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Melbury Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
