Dorian Red/Teal
Casey FabricF4725-02
Dorian Red/Teal pairs a muted brick-red ground with cool teal accents and slim pale bands, giving the stripe a woven, slightly tribal feel. The pattern reads crisp and rhythmic in the swatch, with the warmer red tempered by dusty neutrals.

About this fabric
This Casey fabric by Colefax and Fowler has a repeat of approximately V 20cm / H 7cm and comes in a width of approximately 140cm, making the stripe easy to plan across a room. The composition is 49% Viscose, 25% Cotton, 16% Polyester, 9% Linen and 1% Polyamide, which supports the soft sheen and textured hand visible in the weave. In this Dorian Red/Teal colourway, the red is softened rather than bright, while the teal notes sit cool and slightly smoky against tan, cream and olive-tinged bands. The overall effect is layered and tactile, with enough pattern movement to read clearly without feeling overly bold.
How to use it
Use it on an accent chair, banquette or curtains where the muted red can warm the room without overwhelming it. It works especially well with aged brass, walnut and earthy neutrals that echo the fabric’s dusty, woven palette.
Use with plain linens or velvet to let the rhythmic red and teal stripe take centre stage.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Dorian Red/Teal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
