About this fabric
This Colefax and Fowler fabric is woven in 52% linen and 48% cotton, giving the design a natural, slightly dry handle that suits a range of interior uses. The print has a large repeat of approximately V 72cm and H 66cm, which lets the climbing stems and scattered flowers read clearly across wider spans. In this colourway, the reds feel settled rather than bright, sitting against muted sage and olive leaves on a creamy ground that softens the overall effect. At approximately 135cm wide, it is well suited to patterned drapes or upholstery pieces where the larger-scale floral can be appreciated.
How to use it
Use it to bring warmth to a formal sitting room, especially alongside painted woods, worn brass, and plain linens. The cream ground and softened green foliage help the red motif feel layered and traditional rather than heavy.
A classic floral with a softly aged cream ground that keeps the red motif elegant rather than bold.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Berwick Red/Green without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
