Westbrook Red

Brooke Stripes FabricF4823-01

Westbrook Red shows a crisp stripe pattern in a fresh cream ground, punctuated by slim vertical bands and brushed raspberry-red dashes. The effect is lively and tailored rather than loud, with a hand-printed look that softens the geometry.

About this fabric

This Brooke Stripes fabric by Colefax and Fowler is woven in 100% cotton and measures approximately 138cm wide, with a vertical repeat of 13cm and horizontal repeat of 138cm. The swatch reads as a warm cream base with clear raspberry-red markings, giving the stripe a bright, cheerful edge without becoming harsh. Each red dash has a slightly feathered, painterly finish, which adds texture and keeps the pattern from feeling overly precise. With no performance features noted and a printed cotton handle, it is especially suited to upholstery pieces that need a smart decorative accent.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an occasional chair, bench, or headboard where its clean red-on-cream rhythm can add structure. It also works well against oak, walnut, and muted linen shades for a balanced, classic scheme.

Pair with warm neutrals or dark timber to let the lively stripe read crisp and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
