About this fabric

This fabric from the Casey collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 44% viscose, 28% linen, 24% cotton and 4% polyester blend, with an approximate width of 140cm and a non-patterned repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx. The surface reads as a small-scale horizontal texture rather than a bold motif, with alternating red, olive and natural-toned yarns creating a broken, striated effect. In this colourway, the red is muted and earthy rather than bright, while the moss tones keep it grounded and slightly weathered. The overall handle looks suitable for both upholstery and drapery where a smart, understated texture is wanted, and the √CH fire code adds a practical specification point.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, bench or curtains where the rust-red ground can warm oak, leather and painted wood. The moss undertone pairs especially well with deep greens, parchment neutrals and aged brass.

The muted red-and-moss palette gives this textured cloth a warm, tailored feel for classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
