About this fabric

This Casey fabric from Colefax and Fowler is composed of 40% Cotton, 38% Viscose, 15% Polyester, 6% Linen and 1% Polyamide, giving the cloth a clean woven handle with a lightly nubbled finish. The repeat is very fine at approximately V 2cm / H 1cm, so the surface reads as an understated basket-like grid rather than a bold pattern. In this colourway, the red is toned down and earthy, sitting between terracotta and claret with a calmer, slightly weathered look. At approximately 140cm wide and with BM fire code, it is a practical decorative textile for schemes that want colour with restraint.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, banquette or small ottoman where the soft brick-red tone can warm oak, limestone and aged brass. It also sits well with olive, chalky neutrals and deeper red accents for a layered, collected feel.

A warm brick-red weave that adds quiet colour without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
