Fitzroy Teal

Casey FabricF4740-05

Fitzroy Teal combines a narrow vertical stripe with a tightly woven surface that feels crisp and tailored. The teal reads deep and muted, with warm brown notes running through the texture.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a small-scale vertical stripe with teal sitting against earthy brown and darker shadowed threads, giving the surface a subdued, slightly heathered depth. The weave looks compact and tactile rather than soft or fluid, which suits the 146cm width and the fabric’s 62% viscose, 30% cotton and 8% polyester composition. With a repeat of V 2cm / H 8cm approx, the design has a disciplined rhythm that keeps the stripe neat and refined. The overall effect is smart and grounded, with the teal cooled down by the brown undertone rather than reading bright or coastal.

How to use it

Use Fitzroy Teal where you want a structured stripe that still brings colour, such as a tailored armchair, ottoman or Roman blind. Its dark teal-and-brown palette works especially well with oak, brass and warm neutral upholstery.

A restrained teal stripe with earthy warmth for tailored, layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
