About this fabric

This fabric is from the Eaton Checks and Stripes collection by Colefax and Fowler and is woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen. The stripe is a small-scale design with a vertical repeat of 0cm and a horizontal repeat of approximately 7cm, which keeps the pattern orderly and easy to align. In this colourway the red stripes are softened and slightly dusty, sitting against a light cream ground with subtle green accents that cool the overall effect. The weave shows a fine linen-like slub and a softly matte finish, so the cloth feels refined rather than glossy.

How to use it

Use it where you want a smart stripe with a touch of warmth: perfect for upholstered dining chairs, valances, or curtains in a room with painted woodwork. The muted red and green palette pairs especially well with biscuit, ivory, and aged oak tones.
