About this fabric

Woven in 84% viscose and 16% linen, this fabric has the slightly slubbed handle and gentle surface movement you’d expect from a viscose-linen mix. The stripe repeats horizontally at approximately 7cm, while the vertical repeat is 0cm, so the pattern runs cleanly in lengthwise bands. In this colourway, the navy stripes feel muted rather than sharp, softened by chalky cream, sand and faint grey-blue notes that stop it from looking too severe. At approximately 142cm wide, it is a practical choice for considered upholstery and also for drapes where you want a tidy, ordered stripe. The overall effect is fresh, classic and quietly smart rather than high contrast.

How to use it

Use Colville Stripe Navy on a tailored armchair, bench seat or full-length curtains where the narrow stripe can add structure without overwhelming the room. It sits especially well with natural wood, aged brass and plain linens in warm white or soft stone.
